Wednesday, June 22nd Art & Nature 9:00AM-11:00AM Location: Spring Grove Borough Community Park

(Rt. 116 SG off Railroad Street) Instructor: Betty Stein & Rec Center Staff

Learn about how art and nature can come together to create a masterpiece. Story by Eric Carl. Kids will do an art project to create a colorful collage from painted tissue paper, followed by a scavenger hunt and leaf rubbings. Each person will get a packet of sunflower seeds.

Thursday, June 23rd Stream Study 9:00AM-11:00AM Location: Little Creek Community Park (1657 Route 116 Spring Grove/ Little Creek Golf Course) Instructor: Betty Stein & Rec Center Staff

Come out and learn about insects that live on the land and in the water. We will also make clothespin bugs to take home. Please bring appropriate shoes for water/mud. Nets will be provided.

Friday, June 24th Bird Study and Walk 9:00AM-11:00AM Location: Farmers Field Park Paradise Township (3074 Church Road, Thomasville, PA 17364) Instructor: Linette Mansberger & Betty Stein

Come learn facts about local birds on a nature walk through the park, then make and paint your very own birdhouse!

 Light snack provided at each program Fee: $5.00 per child /per program

*Preregistration is required. Appropriate for ages 6 years and up. Younger ages must be accompanied by adult for entire program (Adult does not need to pay fee)
