 Fun & Fit Class Schedule:

 

Tuesday 7:45-8:45 (Studio A)

 

Thursdays 7:45-8:45 (Studio A)

 

 

 

 

 

This class is designed for adults looking to have fun while they shape up. In a high/low impact fashion, class includes resistance training, stretching, stability ball, moderate training and abdominal/back work. Come join the fun and get fit in the process.

 

 

 

 

 


 

 

Mindful Yoga classes are based on the practices of yoga postures and mindfulness meditation. Sixty minutes long, each class begins with a centering practice focusing on breathing, transitioning from the events of the day. Mindful movement linked with the breath follows, including upper and lower body warm-ups, supine, seated and standing poses. A deep relaxation at the end of class seals the beneficial effects of the practice

Instructor Bio:Cindy is a registered yoga teacher with Yoga Alliance. She has completed her 200-hour Prana Vinyasa Flow RYT training as well as Yin Yoga teacher training. She is also a certified “LIVESTRONG® at the YMCA” instructor (a 12-week program for cancer survivors) and a certified group exercise instructor. She is currently learning authentic oriental martial arts - Tai Chi with a master, which has been a great way for her to connect with her roots. Cindy believes that as long as we can breathe, we can yoga. Yoga is a way of living and it can start wherever we are in life. It is the path to self-discovery and self-awareness. Yoga has influenced her in all aspects of life, not just physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Yoga has taught her to be present, mindful and grateful.  She learned to embrace the moment she is in and appreciate every little thing that has been ignored or taken for granted before yoga found her. She came to realize that even the breath that she just took, that was a gift.
